Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bodily Injury Claims Advisor to join our team at TD Insurance. As a valued member of our Bodily Injury Claims Department, you will be responsible for handling complex bodily injury compensation (tort) claims. This includes conducting thorough investigations into liability and assessing the value of the claim.

About the Role

This position reports to the Team Leader, Claims Services. As a Bodily Injury Claims Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  1. Promptly and thoroughly investigating claims regarding liability, injuries, and other accident-related damages by pursuing the investigation to a logical conclusion.
  2. Establishing and maintaining substantial case volumes by adhering to standard processes and best practices which include identification, notification, claims settlement authority, and reporting to Major Claims.
  3. Documenting claims with a high degree of accuracy in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A minimum of one year of Bodily Injury adjusting experience, or minimum two years of Accident Benefits experience, or minimum two years of litigation experience.
  2. Knowledge or experience with the current Rules of Civil Procedure.
  3. The ability to prioritize and deliver on standard claims tasks in a timely manner and with high attention to detail.
