Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Claims Specialist with expertise in insurance industry processes and policies to join our team. This 6-month contract role has the potential to go longer, offering a chance to grow your career in the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adjudicate complex claims, including accidents, life, critical illness, cancer, and sickness disability
  • Interpret and administer policy provisions, such as eligibility and total disability definitions
  • Review and make decisions on policy rescission after discussion with underwriting teams

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in claims adjudication
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and disability experience an asset
