Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our Workers' Compensation Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional support to our legal team by receiving, reviewing, and triaging legal and medical documents.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, primarily remote with requirements for in-office attendance as needed. You will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support to the Workers' Compensation Department
- Receiving, reviewing, and triaging legal and medical documents
- Assessing priority documents and escalating to the Workers' Compensation legal team
- Recording and documenting key information in claims management software (Parklane)
- Conducting administrative procedures such as scanning, bookmarking, and merging electronic claim files
- Creating efficient processes to manage claim files, access files, and case records
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A post-secondary education in a related field
- Minimum 1-3 years of legal administrative experience
- Fluency in English and French
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn Parklane
