About the Opportunity

This role involves providing advanced knowledge, leadership, and coordination of workforce development in the area of partnerships.

The Consultant, Strategic Partnership and Engagement works closely with other Consultants to provide advice and direction for partnership engagement, building and sustaining effective coalitions.

The position requires in-depth knowledge of developing and sustaining partnerships and coalitions, and understanding how to create opportunities for strengthening practice among staff.

The incumbent achieves this by providing guidance, coordination, and direction to staff on methods and tools, advising staff practice, and recommending quality initiatives and work practice changes.

The position builds and links to coalitions, strengthens the work in partnership between Mental Health & Addiction Service, Primary Health Care, and Public Engagement and Community Health Board Support.

The Consultant collaborates with system and external partners, identifies and monitors key indicators, and supports knowledge exchange across the health system and other sectors.

About You

We are seeking a professional with a strong background in public health, health promotion, or a related field.

  • Masters in public health, health promotion, or equivalent with 3 - 5 years relevant experience
  • Baccalaureate degree in health promotion or other relevant field, with 5 - 7 years' relevant experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and 7 years' progressive leadership experience may be considered
Compensation and Benefits

$37.61 - $47.01 Hourly
