Strategic Partnership and Engagement Specialist

The Nova Scotia Health Authority seeks a highly skilled Consultant, Strategic Partnership and Engagement to provide advanced knowledge, leadership, and coordination of workforce development in partnerships.
This role will work closely with the Manager, Healthy Communities, and other Consultants to advise on partnership engagement, building and sustaining effective coalitions. The incumbent must have in-depth knowledge of developing and sustaining partnerships and coalitions, as well as creating opportunities for strengthening practice among staff.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing guidance, coordination, and direction to staff on using methods and tools, advising on best practices, and recommending quality initiatives and work practice changes to the manager.
Responsibilities- BUILDING STRONG PARTNERSHIPS
- STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN MENTAL HEALTH & ADDICTION SERVICE AND PRIMARY HEALTH CARE
- LINKING THE PH WORK PLANS TO CHB PRIORITIES
We are looking for candidates with a Master's degree in Public Health or equivalent with 3-5 years relevant experience, or a Baccalaureate degree in Health Promotion or equivalent field with 5-7 years relevant experience.
Candidates should also possess training in IAP2, experience in planning, development, and evaluation of public health programs, services, and initiatives, and demonstrated proficiency in Core Competencies for Public Health and LEADS.
Compensation and Benefits$37.61-$47.01 Hourly
This position comes with a competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
