About the Role

The Bilingual Sourcing Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Senior Director, Sourcing & Tendering, in procurement decisions for various spend categories. This position requires a high level of expertise in sourcing and tendering, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance with internal policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support for Internal and External Stakeholders
    • Provide support to internal and external stakeholders, including Operations, Operations Services, and Corporate teams.
  • End-to-End Sourcing and Tendering Process
    • Manage and execute the end-to-end sourcing and tendering process, from opportunity strategy development to bid evaluation.
  • Facilitation and Process Management
    • Facilitate processes and guide stakeholders through planning, timelines, and evaluation of bid submissions.
  • Financial and Technical Requirements
    • Build and perform financial and technical requirements for RF(x) submissions.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Monitor and manage risk and compliance with procurement policies and processes.
  • Ongoing Learning and Development
    • Stay up-to-date with key market trends, vendor economics, and best practices in sourcing and innovation.
  • Cadence and Reporting
    • Participate in regular cadences with stakeholders to review reports, analytics, and identify sourcing opportunities.
  • Tendering and Vendor Relations
    • Manage vendor selection strategy for specific projects, ensuring quantifiable results and savings.
  • Operational Initiatives
    • Support operational initiatives, including repair and maintenance, facilities management, and capital projects.
  • Contract Drafting and Negotiation
    • Draft and negotiate contracts with vendors, including supply and service agreements and construction-related contracts.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College diploma or university degree in Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Five or more years of related procurement experience.
  • Language
    • Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Strong negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Experience with SAP, Ariba, or similar Source-to-Pay platforms is an asset.
