We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Tableau Bar Bistro. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory. You will also be expected to demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to our cooking staff, supervise activities, and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food.

In addition to your culinary expertise, you will be responsible for requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, planning menus, and ensuring that food meets quality standards. You will also be expected to train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

As a Sous Chef at Tableau Bar Bistro, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where no two days are ever the same. You will be working closely with our head chef and other members of the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff
  • Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
