Job Title: Executive Chef Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Water Hospitality Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen operations, supervising a team of cooks, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise a team of cooks, including specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks.
  • Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Ensure that all food meets quality standards and is prepared in a safe and sanitary environment.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a sous chef or executive chef assistant.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
