Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dogg House Tavern. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff
Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
Train and Develop StaffTrain and develop our food service staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service.
Estimate and Manage InventoryEstimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
Hire and Manage StaffHire and manage food service staff, including interviewing, training, and evaluating their performance.
Ensure Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Maintain Records and ReportsMaintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions and improve operations.
Prepare and Submit ReportsPrepare and submit regular reports to management on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
Supervise Tray Assembly and DeliverySupervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that food is presented in a clean and appealing manner.

Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service management role
Supervision3-4 people, including food service counter attendants, food preparers, and kitchen and food service helpers
