Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dogg House Tavern. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff
Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
Train and Develop StaffTrain and develop our food service staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service.
Estimate and Manage InventoryEstimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
Hire and Manage StaffHire and manage our food service staff, including conducting interviews, making hiring decisions, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
Ensure Quality ControlEnsure that our food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Manage Records and ReportsManage records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure we have accurate and up-to-date information to inform our business decisions.
Prepare and Submit ReportsPrepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
Supervise Tray Assembly and DeliverySupervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that our customers receive their orders in a timely and efficient manner.
About YouWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor who has a strong background in food service management and a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service management role
Work EnvironmentFast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
Physical CapabilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity
