About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A's Food Express Incorporated. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Ensure that all staff members are working efficiently and effectively to prepare and portion food to meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide guidance and training to staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions and improve operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality service.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people under your supervision.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player, and dependability.
