Overview

Join our vibrant kitchen team at Dosa Club Indian Kitchen & Bar as a skilled Cook. We are looking for an experienced individual to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods in our fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods: Utilize your culinary expertise to craft delicious South Indian cuisine, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas: Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food: Share your knowledge and skills to support the growth and development of our kitchen team members.
  • Order supplies and equipment: Assist in maintaining inventory levels and procuring necessary items to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers: Lead by example, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment: Accurately track and manage stock levels to prevent waste and optimize ordering processes.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Languages: English is the primary language used in this role.
  • Working Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
