Business Growth Strategist

Job Summary
The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of identifying and acquiring software businesses that align with our strategic objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of the software industry, exceptional business acumen, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Qualification: Utilize industry tools and databases to thoroughly screen potential acquisition targets, generate customized outreach materials, and develop a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Hunting: Engage with software company owners via telephone, leveraging persistence and creativity to connect with 75% of assigned prospects.
Nurturing: Foster lasting relationships with software company owners, utilizing business acumen to carry on engaging conversations over multiple years.
Discipline: Track and record 100+ personalized outreach activities weekly, maintaining meticulous records in Salesforce.
Continuous Learning: Take a proactive approach to professional development, building exceptional knowledge of vertical market software and mergers and acquisitions.
Requirements and Qualifications
Demonstrated success as a leader and team manager, with a strong track record of driving business growth and expansion.
Ability to lead teams day-to-day and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
10+ years of related business experience, with a focus on sales, business development, consulting, banking, investing, M&A sourcing, technology/software, investor relations, or entrepreneurship/start-up experience.
Aptitude and passion for business development and relationship management, with exceptional people skills, leadership, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter with excellent prioritization and multi-tasking abilities, who thrives on new challenges and takes initiative.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
Comprehensive benefits package, including 3 weeks' vacation and 5 personal days.
