We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Workforce Coordinator to join our Transitional Care team at Hogan Court in Bedford, Nova Scotia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and systemizing all employee status changes throughout the lifecycle, coordinating onboarding activities and facility orientation for new employees, and ensuring staff schedules are complete and accurate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and systemizing employee status changes
- Coordinating onboarding activities and facility orientation
- Ensuring staff schedules are complete and accurate
- Communicating with staff to ensure proper staff coverage
- Analyzing and validating timecards for bi-weekly payroll
- Ensuring accuracy of seniority lists and following established procedures for internal job postings
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, such as Business Administration, Office Administration, Human Resources, or Payroll Administration.
Previous experience in staff scheduling, payroll administration, or general administrative duties in a large, complex professional environment is required.
A passion for the healthcare sector and a commitment to ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care are essential.
