Job Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist 3 to join the Computed Tomography team at Squamish Hospital. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) and radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiographic procedures, ensuring accurate and safe imaging results.
- Operate computerized imaging equipment, including processing and archiving of acquired data.
- Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Completion of an advanced specialty program in Computed Tomography and one year of recent experience in CT radiology procedures.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification - Basic Life Support (BCLS) level.
