Radiological Technologist Opportunity at Vancouver Coastal Health
Vancouver Coastal Health is on the lookout for a dedicated Radiological Technologist to enhance the Computed Tomography unit at Whistler Health Centre. If you are committed to delivering high-quality medical imaging services, we welcome you to explore this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct specialized imaging procedures in CT while adhering to departmental protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Manage requisitions, perform data entry, prepare patients, operate equipment, and monitor procedures.
- Potentially oversee a small group of Radiological Technologists.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Certification from the CAMRT.
- Completion of an advanced Computed Tomography program along with relevant experience.
- IV therapy training as required.
- Current CPR certification at BCLS level.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of imaging practice standards.
- Awareness of research methodologies, safety protocols, and patient-centered care.
- Effective communication skills and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in CT techniques and equipment operation.
