Job Title: Advisor for Catalog Standardization in Zendesk (Contract)

Overview

Are you a professional with a background in veterinary services seeking a new opportunity? As an Advisor for Catalog Standardization in Zendesk, your expertise will be essential in assisting practices as they transition from their previous catalogs to our standardized VetStrategy catalog following its launch.

This position involves more than just handling Zendesk inquiries related to a unified catalog. You will have the chance to improve and optimize our standard catalog by considering the unique requirements of clinic personnel. Utilizing your hands-on experience, you can significantly influence our operations, minimize the manual data entry workload for clinic staff, and empower our clinics to concentrate on their primary goal: enhancing the well-being of pets.

Key Responsibilities

Management of Catalog Standardization in Zendesk

  • Effectively review and manage clinic request inquiries.
  • Ensure the integration of all new code requests into clinic databases to uphold standardization.
  • Monitor request inquiries and identify recurring issues for broader resolution.
  • Maintain professional communication with team members regarding ticket requests and inform them of any updates or changes in the databases.
  • Collaborate with the Advisor who facilitated the clinic's transition to gain context on requests or discrepancies.
  • Work closely with Pricing Advisors to evaluate or approve pricing strategies if a request necessitates price adjustments.
  • Become proficient in the functionalities related to the catalog in VetUp to handle any catalog modification requests confidently.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of our Harmonized Catalog Structure (HCS) to manage catalog modification requests effectively.
  • Understand the features of the Zendesk platform, including the use of macros and ticket reassignment.
  • Communicate any process or configuration changes for HCAT to our support team and ensure their execution.
  • Ensure that tickets meant for other departments, such as inventory, training, or implementation, are directed to the appropriate team.

Coordination Across Departments

  • Work closely with other program departments to ensure seamless communication regarding requests.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to the project team, highlighting achievements and areas for enhancement.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Engage in various ad hoc and individual projects as required by the team and the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in the veterinary sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clinic personnel and project team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proven skills in change management and the capacity to thrive in uncertain environments.
  • Expertise in one or more patient management systems (e.g., AVImark, Logivet, Infinity, Cornerstone, Merlin) and the ability to quickly adapt to different systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 suite, including Excel and SharePoint.
  • Ability to adjust to shifting priorities and excel under pressure in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, with the capability to quickly acquire new skills and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team in a dynamic setting.
