GKL Enterprises Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Analysis: Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits, ensuring we stay on track financially.
  • Menu Planning: Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, and modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
  • Operations Management: Evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Staff Management: Monitor staff performance, recruit staff, set staff work schedules, supervise staff, and train staff.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Marketing: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, and negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
