Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts receivable and payable, and performing various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Account Management: Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, reconciliations, and payments.
- Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software, MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in a consulting firm or a similar industry.
- Specialization: Accounting.
- Security Clearance: Basic security clearance.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Ability to multitask, accurate, client focus, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, quick learner, versatility, resourcefulness, and team player.
