As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare general ledger and journal entries
* Manage accounts receivable and payable
* Prepare bank reconciliations and payroll
* Collect payments from debtors
* Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
* Prepare financial statements and reports

Requirements:

* 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
* College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
* Sage Accounting Software, MS Excel, and MS Word proficiency
* Basic security clearance
* Ability to multitask, accurate, client focus, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, quick learner, versatility, and resourcefulness
