In this role, you'll develop and maintain an effective internal control framework that defines how governance is implemented, managed and monitored across our business portfolio. You'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure transparency, accuracy and consistency in our governance practices.
You'll perform testing on design of controls, review processes to identify opportunities for risk mitigation and coordinate oversight/governance activities. Additionally, you'll support the development and execution of strategic initiatives and provide advice and guidance to assigned business groups on implementing our control framework.
We're looking for someone with a strong background in risk management, audit, compliance and governance. If you have experience in project management and can analyze data to provide insights and recommendations, we'd love to hear from you.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in risk management, audit, compliance, governance and/or project management is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of business and regulatory environment.
- Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.
BMO offers a total compensation package that includes a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 per year, performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses and other perks and rewards.
