Job Title: Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Swiss Chalet. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Food Quality: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Team Management: Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, establish work schedules, and maintain a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
