We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Nurse Educator to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing educational programs for nursing staff across the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement regional and site-specific educational programs for nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and RPNs.
- Provide teaching and learning activities to support nursing practice standards, patient education, and professional development.
- Collaborate with site Emergency/Urgent Care educators to develop and implement educational programs.
- Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to ensure educational programs meet the needs of nursing staff.
- Minimum of four years recent related nursing experience with demonstrated competency in a defined area of clinical nursing practice.
- Previous experience in teaching, education, and program development and evaluation is preferred.
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Current BLS certification required; BLS Instructor certification within three months of hire.
- Registration with the College of Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) required.
