Job Title: Regional Nurse Educator

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Nurse Educator to join our team. As a key member of our Collaborative Practice department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing educational programs for nursing staff across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement regional and site-specific educational programs for nursing staff, including R.N.s, L.P.N.s, and R.P.N.s.
  • Design and deliver teaching and learning activities to support nursing practice standards and patient education.
  • Collaborate with site Emergency/Urgent Care educators to develop and implement regional educational programs.
  • Provide leadership and support to nursing staff in their professional and self-development.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of four years recent related nursing experience with demonstrated competency in a defined area of clinical nursing practice.
  • Previous experience in teaching, education, and program development and evaluation is preferred.
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Certified BLS Instructor certification required within three months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Competency with word processing, presentation programs, and virtual platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve in complex situations.
