Regional Nurse Educator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Nurse Educator to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for nursing staff across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional and site-specific educational programs for nursing staff, including R.N.s, L.P.N.s, and R.P.N.s.
- Provide teaching and learning activities to support nursing practice standards and patient education development.
- Collaborate with site Emergency/Urgent Care educators to ensure consistency and quality in educational programs.
- Support the development of nursing practice standards and patient education materials.
- Provide professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
Requirements
- Minimum of four years recent related nursing experience with demonstrated competency in a defined area of clinical nursing practice.
- Previous experience in teaching, education, and program development and evaluation is preferred.
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Manitoba (C.R.N.M.) and BLS certification required.
