About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Pet Valu team as a Keyholder. As a Keyholder, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our store by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making product recommendations.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping, dusting, and restocking shelves.
  • Process customer transactions, handle cash and credit transactions, and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, including lifting and moving heavy boxes and bags.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and engaging shopping environment.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting cash and processing transactions.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of the store.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from the store.
