Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor revenues and labour costs to determine optimal staffing levels and pricing strategies.
- Train and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
- Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
- Recruit, hire, and manage staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to help them improve their performance.
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality products.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive business growth and increase brand awareness.
- Lead and instruct individuals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
- Provide customer service to ensure exceptional experiences and drive customer loyalty.
- Manage events to ensure seamless execution and high customer satisfaction.
