CertainTeed Canada is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to provide strategic leadership to our Health, Safety, and Environment programs. This role will ensure compliance with corporate and provincial legislative requirements, develop and maintain systems, and promote a culture of safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze EHS data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement safety training programs to ensure employee competence and compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize hazards.
- Liaise with government entities and maintain all EHS-related permits.
- Collaborate with plant management to implement market-level initiatives and drive EHS performance.
Requirements:
- University degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an EHS Manager or equivalent.
- Proven track record of leading EHS initiatives and driving results.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
