Job Title: Area Sales Manager for Industrial Control and Automation

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in Quebec and the Maritimes. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets and grow revenue in the region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales data and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the industrial control and automation industry
  • Proven track record of success in sales and revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of the industrial control and automation market and trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Travel Requirements: This role requires frequent travel to customer sites and industry events. A company-provided vehicle will be available for local travel.

Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but not required. Sales courses and certifications are a plus.

Language: English and French are essential languages for this role.
