Dairy Queen Cook Team Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook Team Leader to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading a team of cooks and ensuring that our customers receive high-quality meals in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train a team of cooks to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we are using resources effectively.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a cook or in a similar role.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects, as required.
  • Familiarity with safe food handling practices and procedures.
Salary Range:

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
