Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes
- Train staff in food preparation and handling
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
- Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate
This is a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods. You will work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality food standards.
