Executive Chef

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, inspecting kitchens and food service areas, and training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment as needed
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
• Manage kitchen operations to ensure timely and efficient food preparation

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment
• Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate

This is a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet kitchen demands.
