About the Role

As a Corporate Communications Specialist at Irving Oil Limited, you will play a key role in shaping the company's internal and external communications strategies. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work collaboratively with various teams to develop and execute effective communications plans that drive engagement and connect teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement communications strategies to address corporate communications issues impacting the business.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and develop internal communication proposals that achieve their objectives.
  • Provide direction and guidance to multiple internal stakeholders regarding appropriate internal communication tactics and assist with their execution.
  • Develop clear, timely, and effective employee communications that strive for relevant, informative, and inclusive content.
Requirements
  • University degree in a related discipline (e.g., Public Relations, Communications, Journalism).
  • Three to five years of progressive experience, including at least four years in a similar role; energy industry or journalism experience preferred.
