Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive communications plans that align with our company's strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform, advocate, and consult on corporate communications issues.
- Design and implement internal communications materials and experiences that drive engagement and connect teams.
- Support our company's culture through reputation management, relationship management, issues management, crisis communications, and community programming.
- Provide direction and guidance to internal stakeholders on internal communication tactics and assist with their execution.
- Develop clear, timely, and effective employee communications that strive for relevant, informative, and inclusive content.
- University degree in a related discipline (e.g. Public Relations, Communications, Journalism).
- Three to five years of progressive experience in a similar role, with a preference for experience in the energy industry or journalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and research skills, with a strong understanding of business principles and drivers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid, multi-tasking environment with an extreme attention to detail and an enthusiastic attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills that lead to consistently positive interactions and the ability to form trusted relationships.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Press Style guidelines is considered an asset.
- Digital competency using online/multimedia channels and strong technical skills related to online tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and email marketing software.
