Job Title: Corporate Communications Specialist

At Irving Oil Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Communications department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective internal and external communications strategies that drive engagement and connect teams.

About the Role:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communications plans that align with our company's corporate priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with various teams to inform, advocate, and consult on corporate communications issues impacting our business.
  • Build relationships with key internal stakeholders to support various initiatives and develop internal communication proposals that achieve their objectives.
  • Provide direction and guidance to multiple internal stakeholders on appropriate internal communication tactics and assist with their execution.
  • Develop clear, timely, and effective employee communications that strive for relevant, informative, inclusive content that touches all aspects of the company.
Requirements:
  • University degree in a related discipline (e.g. Public Relations, Communications, Journalism).
  • Three to five years of progressive experience, including at least four years in a similar role; energy industry or journalism experience preferred.
