About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Specialist to join our team at Irving Oil Limited. As a key member of our Communications team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic communications plans that drive engagement and connect teams across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies to address corporate communications issues impacting our business.
  • Collaborate with various teams to inform, advocate, and consult on communications initiatives.
  • Design and execute detailed communications plans, including events and activities, to ensure consistent and effective approaches.
  • Build relationships with key internal stakeholders to support various initiatives and develop internal communication proposals that achieve their objectives.
  • Provide direction and guidance to internal stakeholders on internal communication tactics and assist with their execution.
Requirements
  • University degree in a related discipline (e.g. Public Relations, Communications, Journalism).
  • Three to five years of progressive experience, including at least four years in a similar role; energy industry or journalism experience preferred.
