Academic Urogynecologist Position

Job Summary:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto's Temerty Faculty of Medicine is seeking a qualified academic urogynecologist to join our team. As a Clinician Investigator, you will have the opportunity to participate in a component of general gynecology clinic care, including urgent care and rapid access clinics, and gynecology on-call. If interested, you may also provide low-risk obstetrical care and participate in obstetrics on-call.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultation services and ongoing care in urogynecology
  • Participate in a component of general gynecology clinic care, including urgent care and rapid access clinics, and gynecology on-call
  • Provide low-risk obstetrical care and participate in obstetrics on-call, if interested
  • Have an academic position description of Clinician Investigator and be on track or currently eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor at the University of Toronto

Requirements:

  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, or equivalent certification
  • Recognized subspecialty training in Urogynecology
  • Licensed, or eligible for independent or restricted license, under the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
