Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified academic urogynecologist to join our team at the University of Toronto's Temerty Faculty of Medicine. The successful candidate will provide consultation services and ongoing care in urogynecology, participate in general gynecology clinic care, and have the opportunity to provide low-risk obstetrical care and participate in obstetrics on-call.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation services and ongoing care in urogynecology
  • Participate in general gynecology clinic care, including urgent care and rapid access clinics
  • Have the opportunity to provide low-risk obstetrical care and participate in obstetrics on-call
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects in urogynecology
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in obstetrics and gynecology
Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, or equivalent certification
  • Recognized subspecialty training in Urogynecology
  • Licence to practice medicine in Ontario, or eligibility for independent or restricted license
  • Established track record in research, with a strong publication record
  • Strong commitment to education and teaching, with experience in mentoring and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows
