In this role, you'll partner with executive leadership to design and implement forward-thinking people strategies, enhance employee engagement, and lead talent development efforts across all levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies, operating procedures, and programs while ensuring compliance with HR laws, best practices, and reporting requirements.
- Provide sound advice on the interpretation and administration of collective agreements, workplace policies & procedures, and share knowledge appropriately on applicable legislation.
- Lead talent management programs to support a culture of continuous learning that enhances the organization's objectives and employee skills and abilities.
- Direct and lead the Learning and Development (L&D) Team to achieve the learning and development requirements of YNCU's Strategic Plan and business objectives.
- Provide direction, guidance, and oversight in the development, design, and implementation of talent management program strategies to support various YNCU business operational needs and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Industrial or Labour Relations, Business Administration, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CHRE, CHRL, or CHRP designation is required.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive change and manage complex projects.
- Demonstrated success in building and transforming organizational culture.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and talent management.
