The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the automotive industry. They will be responsible for managing and coordinating activities related to PPAP and NMRs, and will work closely with customers to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Part requirement clarification, including appearance, paint zones, fit to vehicle, and performance.
  2. Incorporating lessons learned into documentation and databases as necessary.
  3. Assisting in operator training plans and feasibility reviews.
  4. Ensuring master timeline milestones are communicated and met for New Model Quality activities.
  5. Participating in tool tryouts and part analysis/improvement activities.
  6. Identifying key customer contacts to establish strong relationships and effective communication.
  7. Developing documentation to support control plans, including check sheets, test procedures, and data record sheets.
  8. Submitting/coordinating sample parts for appearance, DVP&R, NMRs, and AARs as needed.
  9. Developing launch instructions and inspector training for New Model build event parts.
  10. Developing and communicating master and boundary samples as needed.
  11. Conducting/analyzing data collection related to PPAP and NMRs of new/revised products.

Education and experience requirements include a secondary diploma or equivalent, with preference given to candidates with a degree in engineering or quality. Quality core tool training and/or quality accreditations are also preferred.
