Café Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Café Manager to join our team at Ninetails Coffee. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our café, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management
- Evaluate and optimize daily café operations to ensure maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and control labour costs, inventory, and supplies to maintain profitability.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to improve customer experience and staff productivity.
- Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of baristas and café staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality products.
- Set and manage staff schedules to meet business needs and ensure adequate coverage.
- Monitor and address staff performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve skills and productivity.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Financial Management
- Monitor and control café finances, including revenue, expenses, and inventory management.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices for food, beverages, and other supplies.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, including food safety and hygiene standards.
- Develop and implement procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a café or restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
