Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Mattawa River Resort Inc. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, common areas, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the hotel.
  • Ensure that all rooms and public areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
  • Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpeting and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Provide basic information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Launder clothing and household linens.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Weight handling limit of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
