Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Valois Motel & Restaurant. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.

Requirements:

  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Legal Status: Currently legally able to work in Canada.
  • Relocation: Willing to relocate for this position.
  • Experience: Previous experience in this field of employment.
