Job Title: Legal Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team at Chhatwal Immigration and Citizenship Solutions Inc.

Job Summary:

The Legal Assistant will provide administrative support to our legal team, coordinating the flow of information, scheduling appointments, and maintaining filing systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and court sessions
  • Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with legal procedures
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents
  • Review and proofread documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and maintain financial records
  • Research records, court files, and other legal documents
  • Perform general clerical duties and provide administrative support to the legal team
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
