As a Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
* Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings
* Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents
* Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
* Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
* Research records, court files, and other legal documents
* Complete legal documentation
* Advise clients on legal proceedings

Requirements:

* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a legal administrative assistant/secretary role
* College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
* Proficiency in MS Word, Electronic mail, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Windows
