Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Rocky's Donair Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and training to staff.
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to increase revenue and build relationships.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
