Job Summary

You are a dynamic and motivated individual with 5+ years of experience in leading and directing teams in the deep foundations industry. This role involves managing crews responsible for the completion of foundation scopes on high-profile infrastructure projects located in Edmonton, AB.

As a Deep Foundation Foreperson at Ledcor, you will utilize your expertise to drive results, ensure safety, and manage resources effectively. You will be part of a team that strives for continuous improvement, gives back to the communities in which we work, and supports career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a crew towards safe execution of deep foundation work
  • Read and understand engineered drawing sets and apply best practices in the field
  • Solve problems in the field, with input from supervision and management
  • Prepare and deliver work instructions to the crew at the start of daily shifts
  • Ensure crew members are paired properly to maximize efficiency and safety
  • Perform daily work site inspections, monitoring safety and quality of work
  • Communicate work progress, schedule variance, crew, and safety performance to the site supervision
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience leading and directing others in the deep foundations industry
  • A general understanding of the deep foundations industry
  • A high degree of respect for safe work habits
  • Successfully completes a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • CSTS 2020 Ground Disturbance L2, supervisory training
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
Benefits and Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes extended health coverage, dental, optical, prescription drug plan, short-term & long-term disability, life insurance, accidental death & disability coverage, and emergency travel.

The location of work is Edmonton, Alberta, with drive-in and drive-out opportunities available. The shift-based position offers five days on and two days off or six days on and one day off, working 10-12 hours per day. Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
