About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Project Director to join our team at Hall Shoring & Foundations in Edmonton, AB. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for leading projects from inception to completion.



Job Description



  • Manage projects and direct team members to ensure work is carried out in alignment with the planned schedule and cost budget targets.
  • Provide strong leadership to project team members, capitalizing on individual and group strengths to ensure project targets are achieved.
  • Identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible impact on schedule and financial targets.
  • Liaise with consulting engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding the contract, change notices, design revisions, RFIs, RFQs, etc.
  • Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support project progression.


Requirements



  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in piling & foundations, preferably experience with CFA (Continuous Flight Auger).
  • Eligibility to work in Canada, with current work visa status.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferable.
  • P.Eng and/or PMP considered an asset.


Preferred Technical Skills



  • Proficiency in HCSS, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Teams, etc.).
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Data analysis and its application, as required.

  • Excellent communication and leadership qualities.
  • Adept at working in a team environment and leading team meetings and group tasks.
  • Prioritizes Health & Safety above all and expects the same from others.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and problem solve in a timely manner.
