Office Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Office Coordinator to join our team at Orion Financial Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, including implementing new administrative procedures, reviewing and evaluating existing procedures, and delegating work to office support staff.
Key Responsibilities- Implement new administrative procedures and review and evaluate existing ones
- Delegate work to office support staff and establish work priorities
- Carry out administrative activities of the establishment and administer policies and procedures related to the release of records
- Co-ordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services
- Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
- Perform data entry and oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
- Resolve conflict situations and commission systems and components
- Coach and monitor and evaluate office staff
- Plan and control budget and expenditures
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Ability to provide physical, visual, and auditory accessibility accommodations
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports persons with disabilities
- Offering mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities
- Providing awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities
- Applying accessible and inclusive recruitment policies that accommodate persons with disabilities
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
- Assisting with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees
- Supporting social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees
- Recruiting newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
- Supporting newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
- Offering mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
- Providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
- Offering mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
- Developing and maintaining relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
- Providing cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
- Facilitating access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities
- Applying hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities
- Offering mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees
- Providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities
