About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Support Team Lead to join our team. As a Sales Support Team Lead, you will play a key role in supporting our sales team to achieve their goals and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to a team of Sales Support Coordinators, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
  • Workload Management: Manage the distribution of call volume and workloads for all work streams, ensuring that the team is equipped to handle customer inquiries and sales opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Review daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to analyze team productivity and results, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of Sales Support Coordinators, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales results.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the sales team, providing direction and support to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer service initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in call quality calibration sessions to ensure that customer service standards are met and exceeded.
  • Administrative Tasks: Oversee multiple department email boxes, ensure hours and notices are accurately noted for payroll purposes, and provide backup support on inbound queues as needed.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in a call center workforce management and/or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated to drive sales results and exceed customer service targets.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.
  • Proven interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, with knowledge of creating and updating spreadsheets with formulas.
  • Experience with Avaya, Salesforce, and the HVAC industry is an asset.
